Song Of The Every Few Days
'Without music. life is a mistake', some wise guy once said. There is so many great music in this world and I want to share some of it with you.
Music is like magic. It has the power to change moods, feelings and sentiments in seconds. Music helps people move, helps them get over, get in, get out, get up, get down...

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]I’ve been a John Mayer fan since 2003 and for me there is no doubt that he is one of the most talented and skillful musicians of this generation. His first major label album was called Room for Squares and contained well known songs as Your Body Is A Wonderland, No Such Thing and Why Georgia?. It launched Mayers’ career to the stars. More albums, Grammies and gossip stories gave his career color ever since.
If you want to know more about John Mayer i suggest you Google him, to find about 23.000.000 results :-). You could also try to find his Tumblog.
The song I want to share with you is called 3x5 and was featured on Room for Squares as well. I played this song a few times when I was traveling, reminding me that I had to see the world with my own two eyes and at the same time share the experience. In the beginning I used my (fantastic gift) camera a lot to capture everything I saw and amazed me. When I looked back at the pictures, I was always a little disappointed because they never looked as good as the real thing. When I scroll my pictures now, I notice that I have way more pictures of the first few weeks than the last ones. Besides that I’ve never been a fan of 3 by 5’s (postcards) because of the lack of space to write on and the Photoshopped pictures that adorn the front. My blogs and written stories are nice, but just wait until I get back…
It’s impossible to fit the world inside a picture frame. Next time just join me on one of my adventures and behold the beauties of the world together with me!

I’m writing you, to catch you up on places I’ve been
And you held this letter
Probably got excited
But there’s nothing else inside it
Didn’t have a camera by my side this time
Hoping I would see the world through both my eyes
Maybe I will tell you all about it
When I’m in the mood to lose my way with words
Yesterday, skies were painted colors of a cowboy cliche
And strange how clouds that look
Like mountains in the sky
Are next to mountains anyway
Didn’t have a camera by my side this time
Hoping I would see the world through both my eyes
Maybe I will tell you all about it
When I’m in the mood to lose my way but let me say
You should have seen that sunrise with your own eyes
It brought me back to life
You’ll be with me next time I go outside
Just no more 3 by 5’s
Just no more 3 by 5’s
I guess
You had to be there
I guess
You had to be by me
Oh today, I finally overcame
Tryin’ to fit the world inside a picture frame
Maybe I will tell you all about it
When I’m in the mood to lose my way but let me say
You should have seen that sunrise with your own eyes
It brought, no it brought me back to life
You’ll be with me next time I go outside
Just no more 3 by 5’s, just no, no, no ,no more 3 by 5’s
To keep this love alive, so goodnight..Tags
